Picture It @ your library encouraged teens to read graphic novels and other illustrated materials, seek out creative books, or imagine the world through the lens of literature — just for the fun of it.

Renowned illustrator Gareth Hinds created the original art in honor of Teen Read Week 2011. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Hinds is the critically-acclaimed creator of five graphic novels, including the much-praised The Odyssey, published by Candlewick Press, included on YALSA's 2011 Great Graphic Novels for Teens.
