About Us

Welcome to The Library Marketplace! The official store of the Ontario Library Association (OLA). Our mission is to empower our members in the library and information services field to build informed, participatory, and inclusive communities. 

Do you remember the first time you discovered the library? What was it that brought you back again and again? All the books with their promises of adventure and knowledge? The computer stations that could connect you to the world? The helpful and friendly staff who could answer just about any question you had?

For us, the library was about the possibility: anything was possible with the resources that our library had.

We love libraries, books, reading, and anything to do with words. So, we created The Library Marketplace to be a one-stop shop that features some of best library and literary merchandise around. Our carefully curated collection has something for everyone and is constantly growing.

 

What We Do

Curate We curate and create collections of fun bookish merchandise for purchase.

Partnership We offer two ways we can partner with libraries to help them earn revenue.

 

Partnerships

Store in a Box The Store in a Box program provides a customizable pop-up shop of bookish merchandise for events. Once confirmed and paid, the curated merchandise is shipped.

The Affiliate Program Support the OLA official store AND make commission from each sale! Libraries can feature links on virtual event webpages and sales made attributed to the link earns you a 5% commission.

Learn a new tip, trick or tool through current resources for library and information professionals. We have hundreds of resources to help you on your career path.
