The Library Marketplace Affiliate Program
The affiliate program is an opportunity for libraries or partners to benefit from a sales commission through store referrals. Libraries can feature links on webpages—either on library home pages or for virtual events—and sales made attributed to the link entitles partners to a 5% commission.
How do sales from The Library Marketplace support OLA?
Our mission is to empower our members in the library and information services to build informed, participatory, and inclusive communities.
Profits from The Library Marketplace contribute to the running of the many programs OLA supports including:
- Events such as the annual Super Conference, Child & Youth Expo, RA in a Day and more.
- Forest of Reading Program, designed to encourage a love of reading in people of all ages.
- Webinars and professional development courses
- Various funds such as The General Fund and the I Read Canadian Fund
Two Affiliate Opportunities
Note: libraries who opt for an ongoing referral link are not barred from discount codes. Discount codes are still available for any future virtual events in addition to the ongoing website link.
EFT Money Transfer: Requires initial document set up—please speak to your TLM representative. Please allow 1-2 weeks for payment.

Tools and Creative Support
Upon acceptance into the program, the affiliate library or partner will have access to a portal which allows them to track referrals, orders, sales and earnings.
The portal will also allow access to the Marketing Tools tab from which creative assets can be downloaded. Currently, there are 2 branded designs in various webpage dimensions available for download.
All interested parties must first complete this short questionnaire. Qualifying participants will be contacted by a TLM representative for next steps.
