Sandra Boynton is a beloved cartoonist, children’s author, and Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer, and director. Since 1977, Boynton has created nearly 100 books—including five New York Times bestsellers—with over 90 million copies sold. In this poster created for the ALA, her iconic chicken delivers a simple straightforward message: “READ!" Her newest board book, I’ve Got a Dog!, arrives in early 2026.
