Mexikid Poster

Encourage readers—in English and Spanish—with this poster from author-illustrator Pedro Martín. Inspired by his graphic memoir, Mexikid, this poster is filled with eye-catching imagery that takes the viewer on a visual voyage. Mexikid tells the story of a Mexican American boy’s family and their adventure-filled road trip to bring their abuelito back from Mexico. 

Mexikid received numerous awards including the 2024 Pura Belpré Author Award and Illustrator Award, a Newbery Honor, and an Odyssey Audiobook Honor.
